Our Story

North Ridge Pines is a family farm that was founded as a state certified Christmas tree farm in the late 1980’s on Scenic Apple Blossom Drive along the Mississippi River bluffs near LaCrescent, Minnesota.

 

In 2001 our farm was relocated to our present location in south central Minnesota’s lake country and fertile prairie lands near Waseca, Minnesota.

Minnesota State University Mankato along with the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation have been instrumental in fostering both green energy and agricultural research that North Ridge Pines participated in. Research is being conducted comparing the food value and growing techniques of thousands of native and Viking berry plants. Our chemical free farm produces locally family grown berries and foods. NRPines Berries are grown and harvested on our farm to reduce costs and provide a local healthier food option to area residents or they can be shipped throughout the United States. We have also donated portions of our berry crops to food shelves around Minnesota. Please contact us for current pricing and more info!
